I graduated with my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Ball State University in 2010. I successfully completed my APA-Accredited Predoctoral Internship in Professional Psychology at the University of Missouri Counseling Center and am pleased to be able to continue serving Columbia in private practice. While I am a generalist, my areas of clinical specializations center on multicultural counseling with diverse populations, counseling with LGBT individuals, gender issues, and substance use and abuse. Through my past clinical experiences, I have been able to work extensively with diverse and underserved populations including persons of color, religiously diverse clients, and clients from across all socio-economic strata. Additionally, I have sought LGBT specific training experiences, worked significantly with individual LGBT clients and co-facilitated two LGBT support groups, have wrote and presented programing on LGBT issues, and have worked with a transgendered identified clients."
